Delete my data

We follow Google Play and Apple's data-deletion guidelines. You have two ways to request deletion of your account and personal data.

In the app (recommended)

  1. Open 888 Market.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy.
  3. Tap "Delete my account".
  4. Confirm by entering your phone number and the SMS code.

By email

Send a message from your registered email address to privacy@888market.ae with the subject "Delete my account". Include your registered phone number for verification. We respond within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

What gets deleted

  • Your name, contact details, and addresses.
  • Your order history older than 7 years (UAE law requires us to keep recent records for tax purposes).
  • Your wishlist, reviews, and chat history with sellers.
  • Your saved payment-method metadata (we never stored the full card number).

What we must keep

We are required by UAE law to keep limited records for up to 7 years (tax, anti-money-laundering, dispute resolution). These records are anonymised where possible and never used for marketing.
